Times tables · ages 6–10

See it.
Remember it.
Match it.

A memory game for multiplication. Every card holds a complete equation — and two cards pair only when the whole equation is identical. Children never solve a blank. They see a fact, hold it in mind, hunt for its twin, and meet it again and again until it sticks.

Matching is the recall

Most maths games ask a child to compute. This one asks them to remember. Because every card carries the whole equation, and every card looks exactly the same, nothing but the memory of those five symbols can tell one pair from another.

2×3=6 ↔ 2×3=6
Colour marks the role of a symbol — first number, operator, second number, equals, answer — and never the times table. The same five colours appear on every card in the game, so colour can never give a pair away.

Four steps, over and over

See

Tap a card. It flips in 0.45s to reveal a full equation — never a blank to fill in.

Remember

Hold those five symbols in mind while you search the board for their twin.

Match

A hit glows gold, sparkles and dings — the pitch rises with every combo.

Repeat

A miss wobbles and flips back. That fact now returns sooner, by design.

Quackers is in the game now

A duck who watches every card and every answer. He cheers a match, he pulls a face at a miss, and when something goes wrong he does the one thing that actually helps: he counts it out with you.

The Quack Quiz

Five question shapes, rotated so no two in a row look alike: solve it, find the missing number, pick the equation, count the eggs, or call it true or false.

Streaks worth protecting

Every right answer raises the pitch, thickens the music and multiplies the points. Three in a row sets the screen on fire.

Eggs and hats

Finishing a quiz earns an egg. Eggs hatch into hats for Quackers — a crown, a snorkel, a wizard's hat — and he wears them everywhere.

Nothing here can be failed. A wrong answer is not scored against a child: it buys the explanation, drawn as groups of eggs and counted out loud. The timer running out does not lose the question either — it just makes Quackers offer to help.

Built around one honest measure: recall

An engine that watches

Every fact carries a weight that rises with misses and falls with hits. The deck builder samples by weight, so the facts a child struggles with come back sooner.

The Multiplication Map

One level per times table, 2× to 10×. Each is three short boards of 6 cards and a three-question test. Pass it to earn that table's trophy and open the next one.

Speed Memory Mode

The cards show, then hide. Four rounds, and the preview window shrinks each time — 2.5s, 2.0s, 1.5s, 1.0s.

A trophy room

A champion trophy for every table passed, plus twelve more tied to something real: a match under two seconds, a lesson with zero misses, a flawless quiz.

A brain map

Every fact the child has met, sorted into mastered, learning and practice — so they can see their own progress, not just a score.

A parent dashboard

Accuracy, recall speed, a seven-day trend, and the exact facts that need reinforcing. Built from real sessions, not made-up numbers.
